Agriculture Bran Microwave Stabilization

People recently realize the important agriculture bran is good for our health. Daily consuming some bran can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure. Experimental evidence obtained from physical, thermal and nutritional studies have shown that microwave heating is an effective method for the inactivation of lipase that is responsible for rice bran degradation and instability. Rice bran, stabilized by microwave heating at 2450MHz for 3 min was found to be stable for up to four weeks in storage. Free fatty acid (FFA) content of microwave stabilized bran increased from 4.0% to 4.9% in long grain rice bran and from 4.6% too 6.25% in medium grain rice bran, even when stored under unfavorable storage conditions (33°±2°C, 75±5% relative humidity). In contrast, increases in the untreated bran FFA ranged from 4.0% to 68.3% and 4.6% to 56.8% in long and medium grain bran, respectively.

Based on the experiment, MAX Industrial Microwave manufactures conveyor belt s2450Mhz microwave to heat wheat bran and raw rice bran. Comparing to other treatment, there is no doubt that microwave treatment is an efficient way in which not only quickly process rice bran, but also keep much nutrition.

The rice bran samples were subjected to eight treatments including hot air oven heating, micro wave heating and ethanol to study their effect on rice bran stability. Different parameters including rancidity of rice bran oil and its' nutritive values were determined on zero, 30 days and.

180 days of storage at room temperature (32°C) after applying these treatments. The treatments were(1) Control, (2) Autoclave and subsequently drying at 80℃overnight, (3) Hot air oven at 130℃for 20 minutes,(4) Hot air dryer at 180℃for 5 minutes, (5) microwave at 900 watt for 1 minute, (6) microwave at 900 watt for 1.5 minute, (7) microwave treatment for 2.5 minutes,(8) Soaking with 80% Et-OH for 6 hour and after filtration, drying of the RB in the oven 80℃and subsequently grinding into powder form. After completion of the treatments, all the containers were kept in room temperature(32℃) and the following biochemical parameter were estimated at 1 day, 30 days and 180 days interval.











The nutritional quality of rice bran (RB) differs significantly at different days of preservation at room temperature (32°C) (Table 1). The antioxidative activity (AA) of crude ethanolic extracts was determined by DPPH assay methodology. At the first day of treatment, the highest AA (87.53% inhibition) was found from treatment 6 (microwave heating for 1.5 minutes) followed by treatment 7 i.e. microwave heating for 2.5 minutes (85.39% inhibition) and after 180 days of preservation, both of the above treatments performed better (highest AA: 83.4 and 83.53% inhibition respectively) as compared to others


From the present work, it could be concluded that Microwave treatment for 2.5 minutes gave very good results in respect of minimum rancidity and higher nutritional value, when we preserved it for 180 days. Actually, preservation of rice bran is necessary because the value added product like rice bran cake, biscuit can be prepared by this stabilized bran and these products are very good for our health especially for cardiovascular diseases.

Recently, we manufacture an electricity hot air batch oven dryer to our customers who dry tea products. Electricity hot air batch oven convert electricity power to heating resource. Black Soldier Fly Larva Microwave Drying Report

Testing Recoards, Time is 4th May 2016:

the total weight of sample is 6kg fresh black soldier fly larva, the sample is divided to three groups, each group is two kg

First group-- time consumption is seven minutes and twenty seconds, dried goods is 0.76kg,

Second group--- time consumption is seven minutes and twenty seconds, dried goods is 0.78kg.

Third group-- time consumption is seven minutes and ten seconds, dried goods is 0.76kg,

This model can produce 6.4kg dried black soldier fly larva and dry 16.7kg fresh black soldier fly larva. The power consumption is 11kw/h.

Machine Model:MAX-18

The total sample weight is 12.34kg black solider fly larva, the samples is divided into 4 groups.

First group—sample is 3 kg fresh black soldier fly larva, time consumption is six minutes and thirty seconds, dried goods is 1.02kg.

Second group--- sample is 3 kg fresh black soldier fly larva,time consumption is isx minutes and twenty seconds, dried goods is 1.04kg.

Third group-- sample is 4 kg fresh black soldier fly larva, time consumption is seven minutes and fifty seconds+ forty seconds, dried goods is 1.4kg,

Fourth group-- sample is 2.34 kg fresh black soldier fly larva, time consumption is four minutes and fifty-nine seconds, dried goods is 0.86kg,

This model machine can process 28kg fresh black soldier fly larva, and obtain 9.8kg dried goods.

Microwave Dry and sterilize Starch

In some humidity area, company need to dry starch from 12% moisture content down to 6%-7%.Conventional heating and drying solutions approach starch from the surface, applying heat only to the outside edge. Carrageenan Dehydration Machine

Carrageenans or carrageenins are extracted from red edible seaweeds. They are widely used in the food industry, for their gelling, thickening, and stabilizing properties. Their main application is in dairy and meat products, due to their strong binding to food proteins. There are three main varieties of carrageenan, which differ in their degree of sulphation. Kappa-carrageenan has one sulphate group per disaccharide. Iota-carrageenan has two sulphates per disaccharide. Lambda carrageenan has three sulphates per disaccharide. Carrageenan is avegetarian and vegan alternative to gelatin in some applications or may be used to replace gelatin in confectionery.


Use of carrageenan in infant formula and found that the additive was ‘not of concern’ in infant formula as food for special medical purposes at concentrations up to 1000 milligrams per liter.   The use of carrageenan in infant formula, organic or otherwise, is prohibited in the EU for precautionary reasons, but is permitted in other food items. In the US, it is permitted in organic and non-organic foods, including juices, chocolate milk, and organic infant formula. Microwave Starch and Spice Sterilization Machine

Microwave technologies in general and the ability for them to sterilize spices and starch is good, it is a thermal process. The advantage is volumetric heating (so you can heat up a bulk due to creation of kinetic energy from the rapid rotation of polar molecules, like water, in the electromagnetic field). Some people also make the list of the disadvantages are that there can be non-uniform heating that could either create cold spots so you don't get uniform sterilization (microbial kill) or hot spots (scorching). These are the same problems you would experience at home with your 2450 MHZ unit. However, the shape of food we heating by home microwave is usually unstable and random, the heating uniform is also not easily achieved. To overcome this non-uniform heating in the industry, MAX Industrial Microwave adopts our own design feeder which uniformly lays the material on the belt by. Secondly, we design and install microwave magnetron on the top of belt which can cover each position of material to guarantee the heating uniform. Our microwave design assures every position which got heated by microwave.


If the products are packaged in plastics or glass with plastic closures then it would be possible to sterilize post packaging by microwave. You would want to make sure that any plastic packaging you would pick would not melt in a microwave. Glass is ok -but it is not possible to use a metal lid. If you were going to use glass, it would be a good idea to put a heat sealed liner on the top of the jar opening, and then microwave - since this would almost completely eliminate the risk of recontamination

915Mhz does have a better penetration depth than 2450Mhz. But it is typically used for defrosting thick ice block food and ceramic. For food heating, drying and sterilization, 2450Mhz is more common and enough to process material.

You will need to know the level of microbial contamination for the products you want to treat including bacterial amount before sterilization and final target. During the sterilization process, we also need make sure quality isn't affected (they turn brown or discoloration).

Wood Microwave Cured Glue

Improperly cured adhesive is one of the worst thing that happen in Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) engineered wood product. When glue doesn’t stick properly, the result can include delamination, loss of structural integrity, and inutility.
